A tour operator in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, along with four lucky tourists, have made the first recording of a a group of Orca whales hunting a dolphin.
Ranier Schimpf was leading a group of divers when they noticed that one dolphin had been separated from a pod by five of the killer whales then repeatedly rammed. The dolphin was sent flying through the air by the force of impact from whales that were several times its size. With the smaller creature finally left laying unconscious on the surface, the whales pulled it below.
The two 7m male, two 5m female, and a 3m calf whales were clearly working as a team against the dolphin, and it appeared it was also a hunting lesson for the calf.

75 skills every man should know including how to take a photo (I think I'm halfway there), swimming three different strokes (yep, although I haven't stepped in a pool since I was about 12), speak a foreign language (bore da?) and describe a glass of wine in one sentence without using the terms nutty, fruity, oaky, finish, or kick (all I can come up with is good, alright, bad. Same for beer)

A truly sad video showing Roger Williamson crashing in the 1973 Dutch Grand Prix. A combination of bad organisation and poorly trained and equipped fire marshals meant that Williamson was left in his burning car for 8 minutes before the fire was extinguished. He died of asphyxiation.
What makes the video a moving one is that his friend and fellow driver David Purley stopped to try and save his friend and could hear Williamson screaming for help. Marshals watched as Purley tried to turn over the vehicle but was unsuccessful. Then, in what was seen by many as the most shocking aspect of the incident, one of the marshals tried to pull Purley away from the wreck as the helpless Williamson remained trapped.
In an interview Purley said, "I just couldn't turn it over. I could see he was alive and I could hear him shouting, but I couldn't get the car over. I was trying to get people to help me, and if I could have turned the car over he would have been alright, we could have got him out."
For his bravery, Purley was awarded the British Imperial George Medal, the second highest (highest being the George Cross) medal that can ever be awarded to a civilian for bravery. (Wikipedia entry) [via]

Gizmodo has posted a video showing four different Diet Coke and Mentos explosions filmed at 1200fps. They were filmed using the Casio's EX-F1 camera. At 1200fps, the camera outputs at a strange 336x96 frame size but it's still a very cool feature.
