Seen on Flickr, this store in the US apparently offers live chickens and rabbits for you to choose from. After selection they will slaughter the animal for you. It's as fresh as it gets!
Whilst I like my meat I wouldn't want to actually select the animal that I want to eat.

Ugh. I'm glad I don't have to do that with carrots! I prefer my veg ready killed too.
