Is This The World's Oldest Cat?
Whiskey the cat becomes the world’s oldest today — at the tender age of 33.
The ancient puss is an incredible 231 in cat years. Whiskey, who has no front teeth, will celebrate in his usual routine — sleeping and eating Whiskas cat food.
Jean, 66, of Jaywick, Essex, reckons he should now have a place in the Guinness World Records book.
Guinness World Records say the oldest living cat is Kataleena Lady, a 27-year-old Burmese born on March 11, 1977, in Australia.

The oldest domestic cat living here in Austin is 37 years old. His owner also owned "Grandpa Rex's Allen", who died at age 35.
