World's Most Pierced Woman
The world's most pierced woman, Elaine Davidson from Brazil, a resident in the Scottish city of Edinburgh, poses for a photographer during the 6th Ti-Tattoo Convention in Lugano, Switzerland, late Friday, Aug. 27, 2004. Davidson claims to have upwards of 1,900 piercings, and has an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records. - Yahoo!
That's just scary.

I wouldn't want to be in line behind *her* in the security check at the airport. Might as well fly the next day, it'd take so long to get all that metal off & back on again.

She's probably made arrangements for her remains after she dies. Stuffed and put on display in some tattoo museum, that kind of thing. Her art will live on then, as inspiration, or warning, to future kids.

surface piercings..should be performed using surface bars.... or at least a flexi post... think of the line scars this ladies going to have after migration has pushed the metal right out of her skin..

I'm surprised that no one has commented on this issue in regards to the spiritual and/or artist aspect of Ms. Davidson's piercing's.
To take anything to such an extreme takes an amazing amount of dedication, love of the subject, and willpower.
I'd really like to know more about the woman's life and times and what brought her to where she is today but all I find on the net are sites like this one with a variety of deeply felt observations such as, "EWWWW," or "gross."

Hi, After meeting Elaine I can say without doubt that she is an amazing person. An amazing personality that radiates out to all around her and the added dimension of a deep spirituality that adds so much to the complexity of her character. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I can say that without doubt I am enchanted.

She is a brilliant woman...She does not hold any prejudice against anyone. Accepts everyone for who they, not what they look like. She is a loving indiviual with amazing powers.
I love her and I have absoultly no piercings nor do I have any tatoos...
Funny how opposites attract...

Wow, I'd love to see a list of everything she has. I really admire her dedication. I could never do it. I only have 9 piercings and I certainly want more, this is inspiration.
