Antonov 225

A collection of pictures of the Antonov 225, the world's biggest plane. According to Wikipedia only one is in service, as a cargo plane, although a second is currently under construction. [via]

Nice pictures, not that I like plane's much at all, but do like the 'Buran on the back' shots. Here's another one http://liftoff.msfc.nasa.gov/rsa/gifs/buran_an225.jpg

I actually got to attend a "photo-op" when the Anatov landed here several years ago. It was transporting a transformer from Europe. The entire front nose cone hinges upward revealing an incredibly huge cargo area. Watching it land was like slow-motion. I wouldn't mind sharing photos if there are plane enthusiasts out there.

Incredible photos...very good! There is a variant for Flight Simulator on www.flitezimz.com ....not quite finished.

this plane could never hold me
