Hitachi Demo's Vein-ID Car-Door Handles
Hitachi demonstrated at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show new technology that protects cars using VEIN IDENTIFICATION biometric security. Like a fingerprint readers, the vein ID system detects the unique pattern of blood vessels in your fingers before letting you into the car.
