A Chinese man supposedly stands on one finger. I'm a bit sceptical. You only see him 'standing' on his finger and don't see him get up there or down. [via]

Actually this guy is one of those few guys you can garuntee legitimacy. He is famous for his one finger handsdtand, being the only man in history able to do it. He died a few years ago I believe. Most monks in the shaolin temple are only able to get two. The type of practice is called qigong, an internal strength training exercise in china.

yes saw it to , the camera never shows the mens feet completely , no way a finger bone can hold say 55 kilo at his age.
half of the martial arts is show and entertainment , I trust the hard 9 mm.

I've seen something like this on TV. Not this guy but someone else supposedly practices this all his life. He can stand on two index fingers or two thumbs (not as cool as one I guess). This show, recorded live at a performance, had interview and the whole thing of him getting up and down from the finger stance.

Hemaworstje, if you are so sure if yourself maybe you should look for the VCD of it. It has him doing the whole thing. Besides, who are you to say it is show? What do you know about culture? It's all magic since you didnt' grow up with it?

Dont be so skeptical, Bruce Lee could do one finger pushups (not QUITE as good). If bruce lee could come that close why couldnt someone else do it? (even though it does look a little fake)

This demostration was part of an 2 hour show on teh Shaolin Temple and this was part of it. it is for real, I have teh VCD and the old man actually did a one arm hand stand and then lifted all his fingers to support himselve with just one finger.
there was another guy who could poke holes through bricks with his fingers, nice round holes....
