Supermarket Launches 'Chav' Sweets

A supermarket chain has launched a new streetwise variation on the classic Lovehearts sweets.

Asda's Whatevers will display more up-to-date messages such as Minger, Chav, Proper, Bothered, Whatever and As If.

Lovehearts, made by Derbyshire-based family firm Swizzels Matlow, first went on sale in the UK in 1956.

The company owns the copyright to the sweets' design and made the Whatevers version for Asda.

The sweets will be updated as and when more popular terms come into use. [via]
