Welsh Sign Gets Lost In Translation
Welsh cyclists have been left confused by a bilingual road sign that has been telling them they had problems with an inflamed bladder.
In English the sign said "cyclists dismount" but rather than saying the same in Welsh it said "llid y bledren dymchwelyd" which literally means "bladder inflammation upset" (or tip or overturn).
It is possible that an online translation led to confusion between cyclists and cystisis. The Vale of Glamorgan Council said new signs were being made. [via]
