Wales On The Web May Become .cym

Welsh websites could soon choose a .cym address rather than .uk, if a campaign backed by assembly members succeeds.

The dotCym organisation has got backing from people in commerce, design, publishing and the legal sectors, but needs to persuade ICANN.

The dotCym petition has almost 5,000 signatures from people supporting the idea. A .cym TLD would be help greatly in promoting Wales and the Welsh language so go and add your name to the petition.

What a excellent idea and i agree with .CYM AM BYTH

yeah.. great idea. You should write this whole page in welsh also.

I disagree with the part aboput writing the page in Welsh. You would lose most, if not all, of your international readers. Remember the guy in Africa who liked sharing images of dead people? He probably can't speak Welsh.

The guy in Africa? You'll have to refresh my memory on that one.
