Beer Can Pyramid aka 'The Beeramid'

Built at a university in Melbourne Australia, the beeramid contained 10,660 beer cans and was 5.07m tall. Students must have had fun drinking the 4,000 litres of beer from all those cans.

how did you get the cans to stick together. i have tried to build my own, but i can not figure out the best way to secure the cans. if you have any insight i would greatly appreciate any info. thank you
