The Cricket Player Who Has Broken Every Finger

Cricket-crazy Dave Morrison shows off his crocked fingers — the result of half a century playing as a wicket keeper.

Dave, 64, has broken every digit over the years but was too scared of hospitals to get them treated.

Instead he left them to heal themselves with only bags of frozen peas to numb the pain — meaning each one is now crooked.

He finally saw doctors after a ball smashed his thumb. They were so amazed at his fingers they took a photo to use in medical lectures. LinkCricket

This guy is an idiot

No, this guy is dedicated. And power to him! What a man! He must be Australian, no Brit could withstand that much pain, you should see how they go when they lose the Ashes series... :D

he was british so lolz at you

Dedication is still playing the game after you get hurt. Not getting your hands fixed is not dedication, it's pure stupidity. Just wait until he gets a little older and the pain from his crooked hands makes him shart his diapers every day. Now that's dedication! Idiot lolz.

I thought cricket balls were soft rubber. And what the F is a keeper?

Yes, I'm a stupid American...

Tough?
This guy was afraid of hospitals. Hospitals!

can't blame him,
most people die in hospitals.

Most people die in hospitals??? wow that would defeat the perpose of em wouldnt it? I could just see it now on the news about the guy who wrote in his suicide not how he cant take it anymore and goes into a hospital never to return again. Natural selection folks!

You are all losers =)

Bdog, you are a fool. You missed sithadmin's point entirely. People are afraid of hospitals in western cultures because that's where we keep our diseased, our DYING, and people in pain. Your suicide argument is valid in that, no, most people don't die in hospitals, but there is still that ASSOCIATION with those "bad" things. Jesus, visit a hospital sometime, or better yet, work in one. Seeing all the things that can go wrong with the human body makes you feel sick yourself.
