Thats the saddest video Ive seen.
Id rather see adults getting ripped apart by tigers than see kids in trouble like that.

I don't see anything wrong with showing it as long as you are not taking pleasure in the pain of others. It's people like you that has caused people to become more ignorant of things these days. I have never saw what rabies can do to a person. All I knew was that it was bad, but this video enlightened me. I couldn't finish watching it either, but hey, at least I know more now.

keep it up. I can't stand people putting their heads in the sand and pretending this stuff doesn't exist.
Its sad. People need to be educated about the risk of rabies. To many ignorant parents think its fine for their kids to pet every random animal they cross paths with. Be safe. Be aware.

Disturbing as it may be it is also interesting to see. There haven't been to many cases where people have survived though. I have never actually seen the affects other than through dogs. I wonder if that is from a documentry or what i do wonder what became of the child. Could we have an update Rob?

I knew that rabies made you scared of water.
Only question I have is. 'Why is that kid being offered water?"
I may be wrong. But I doubt it.

Poor boy.
Usually at a point of progression like this, the boy's chance of survival is pretty slim. Makes me sad that they weren't able to give him treatment when he first was infected.

This is very upsetting to see, but also very informative..
Does anyone know at all where this poor child was and what happened to him?

Nora is exactly right. In our societies we are so insulated from realities in a lot of the world. How else will we, of the West, with so many resources and capabilities be increasingly motivated to help? We must be made brutally aware and more punches to our guts are needed. What's more effective- hearing about rabies or seeing it? Obviously.

poor kid ,not to sound heartless but if you where wondering.... he shows symptoms so he deffinatly dead, cant survive after you show symptoms only 6 cases ever where people have survived after representing symptoms. Best thing to do would be to dose him with so much pain killers he cant move.
i dont know what you guys are on about theres cases of rabies all over the developed world. Its just not news so you dont see it. Infact its comon to the point it wouldnt be on the news unless there was a major outbreak.
If you get bit a wild animal in any country with the means to do so, you will be vacinated immediatly. The only way i can see this kid getting to this stage is if they didnt know he was infected or bit. That or hes a transplant patient.

A terribly sad film. A prime candidate for a Brompton's cocktail! I can't begin to imagine the despair his parents must have felt during his latter days. Many in the UK have forgotten the horror of this disease. This video should stay!
