Egyptian God Sails In To London
This is not a sight you see on the River Thames.

The 25ft Egyptian god Anubis - the jackal-headed God of the Dead - was transported along the Thames and through Tower Bridge on the back of a cargo ship.

The statue will be positioned in Trafalgar Square and marks the forthcoming opening of Tutankhamun And The Golden Age Of The Pharaohs at the O2 Bubble, the first exhibition to be held at the venue. Link

My wife and I just saw the exhibit here at the Franklin Museum in Philadelphia. We were really looking forward to it and it was magnificant until the end. They first exhibit artifacts from Tut's relatives and gradually you start to see things of his and his wife's. In the last room you expect to see the wonderful sarcoficus and his golden mask. NOT. It seems that Egypt will not release them on tour. Even the advertisments show the mask but you will never see it.
We both considered it a major let down and we walked away disappointed.
It was still a great show but the ending was disappointing.
