Jennifer Love Hewitt Responds To Bikini Photos
I figured that there must have been something in the news about the Jennifer Love Hewitt bikini photos after 29% 71% of visitors to AWV today came looking for the photos.
In a statement on her website, she hits back at critics of the photos taken of her in a bikini on a beach in Miami
"I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinized."
"To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me, but for all the girls out there that are struggling with their body image."
"A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be, and being a size 0 doesn't make you beautiful."
"What I should be doing is celebrating some of the best days of my life and my engagement to the man of my dreams, instead of having to deal with photographers taking invasive pictures from bad angles."
"To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist," she wrote, "put on a bikini — put it on and stay strong."

She is kicks ass. She sounds like a normal women stuck in the world of hollywood bullshit, and isnt going to put up with it.
What was interesting in one of the episodes of ghost whisper (since i no one knows me I'll admit that not only do i watch it, i get teary eyed sometimes) is she was wearing something that looked like clown pants made out of dress pants. She may have been self conscious that day, not that the pants made her any slimer...

How many women and young girls have to die until it FINALLY sinks in that anorexia is NOT CHIC. Hollywood can be pretty insane and the media is ruthless. I'd love to be rich but I would not want to be famous, because you have to live up to standards that are INSANE. Enough said.

It's about time people realize that REAL women have curves. I love my curves. I'd rather be a little curvy than to have a boyish figure. I love Jennifer Love Hewitt more now than ever.

The issue people have with the bikini shots and Hewitt is not that she has more mass nor the actual # of her dress size. The issue is that her mass is not appropriate for her body type and the mass itself is practically all cellulite.
It's not an issue of quantity - it's an issue of quality. Regardless of whether her weight was perfect or a little on the anorexic-Hollywood-body-conscious side for her body type, right now the way her body is is completely wrong. This has nothing to do with beauty, it's about the distribution of fat over the entire body, the way the fat manifests itself, and the proportion of fat compared to age and body type. Healthy larger people have fat more evenly distributed across their entire body and you can tell from their skeletal structure that they are naturally supposed to be a little on the heavier side. This is not the case with her petite frame (and i mean thin boned - not height).
Anybody just looking at those ripples can tell that that's not healthy - you don't need to be an MD.
So leave the "need to be skinny for Hollywood" arguments behind along with the "fight media driven ideals of skinny beauty" arguments behind as well...
Specifically for Hewitt's body, her fat is not normal, healthy, and frankly the cellulite looks ugly.
