Video: 1500 Cinematic Explosions
Elizabeth McAlpine has compiled the whitest frame from 1500 cinematic explosions into a one minute film.
"McAlpine's movie LIGHT READING 1500 cinematic explosions offers the viewer an endless climax. Splicing together hundreds of detonations from action movies the viewer is confronted by a continuous wave of white light occasionally punctuated by a blaze of yellow and an iconic building. Suggestive of a nuclear flash or the celestial vision of a born again Christian, the flickering screen could also be interpreted as a portal to another dimension."
It uses the sound from the scenes too which makes the final film almost hypnotising. [via]

so what in the title "1500 Cinematic Explosions" did you not get then . I kind of figure that alone is warning enough. kind of interesting though a little creepy how it just ends.

"Splicing together hundreds of detonations from action movies the viewer is confronted by a continuous wave of white light"......that comment made me think it was just gonna be a white picture with sound...not a continuous "flashing" light. I'm only one person, but when it says "1500 explosions" i tend to think i will actually see EXPLOSIONS, and not flashing white light like you seem to think bdog.

Thats what splicing film together will produce, but even if that isnt the case. There is two points i am trying to make here, one is if you can get an epileptic seizure from a quicktime low-rez video then get the hell away from the computer. Second when is the last time you went to a video site or blog that had an epilepsy warning on the content you where about to watch? The most you get is NSFW or click if your 18. And by the way you didnt see just white light: "occasionally punctuated by a blaze of yellow and an iconic building" but I didnt really see that at all.
