Researchers Develop Eye-Implantable Camera

Researchers at UCLA have developed a camera that is small enough to be implanted directly onto an eye's lens. Michelle Hauer and her team recently filed a patent outlining how the tiny camera could feed image data to a chip at the back of the eye where it can either be fed into the optic nerve to aid the blind.
