Grand National 2008
Today is the day of the Grand National - a horse race in which every man and his dog places a bet. This year it is estimated that us Brits will bet £300m on the National. The race is the biggest betting race in the United Kingdom and will be watched by 600m people worldwide. It is also one of the more controversial sporting events in the UK due to the injuries and fatalities suffered by the horses.

Even though I never seem to have any luck, I've backed a few horses. I've gone for Comply Or Die, D'Argent and an outsider Kelami.
