TypePad Still Sucks

About a month ago I wrote a post about how TypePad's changes to the compose editor and rest of the backend sucked. Well, it still sucks.

Yesterday I noticed something that I missed when I posted my first rant and that's the ability to search posts. Yep, you can no longer search for old posts using the backend. That means that if you need to alter an old post, like I wanted to yesterday, and the post is fairly old, you've got no chance. When you've got 16,500 posts, the prospect of traipsing through them 5, 20 or 50 posts at a time searching for a post is not something that I relish.

I thought that maybe the search feature had moved or maybe it was just missing from my account but according to TypePad the feature has been removed and don't have a timeline on when this will be implemented.

Typepad Support did offer one 'helpful' solution to the problem - search my site using Google! What use is that to me? What am I supposed to do when I find my post? Perhaps if I could alter the URL structure in the admin section I could edit it but this is what an average post URL looks like - http://www.typepad.com/site/blogs/6a00d8341c793d53ef00e5503c7e7f8834/post/6a00d8341c793d53ef00e5539b7be18834/edit

How can something so fundamental be removed?
