Man Tries To Amputate Own Arm At Denny's Restaurant

A drug addict tried to cut off his own air whilst at a Denny's after he thought he had injected air into a vein. He feared he would die unless he took drastic action, i.e. cutting off his arm.

After trying to cut it off with a butter knife, he took a butcher knife from the kitchen and dug it into his arm.

Police officers were called and used a Taser stun gun to knock him down before he could detach it. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of severe cuts. Link [via]
