AWV Pub Crawl

For those interested, the AWV pub crawl went well and Stephanie brought along her husband and friends. Pubs visited included Kilowatt, Monk's Kettle, Lucky 13 and Toronado. All pubs had a great selection of beers especially Toronado and Monk's Kettle. I was very tempted to try the 44%(!) beer that was on sale in Monk's Kettle but it was the beginning of the night and strong beer early in the night is not a good idea.

We also dropped by the Ice Cream Social which was an art event. That was definitely an experience and all the food and drink contained ice cream.

On a related note, if you live in the area, are a fan of beer and haven't been to the City Beer Store you really need to pay a visit. The selection of bottles is huge and you can drink them in the store! It's also a gerat place to chat with people about all things beer.
