Update: I've replaced the video with a working version.
A 911 operator in Memphis has been disciplined after he appeared to fall asleep and start snoring during an emergency call. CNN has a video featuring the call (you may want to avoid the crappy interview after the call)
Poor old suicidal Bruce. He gets convinced to come down from a bridge and on his way down gets whacked by a fire engine. Link

The US Presidential Election doesn't interest me at all and I've never seen this John McCain advert before but this parody of said advert got a smile from me.
This photo of US Vice President Dick Cheney was taken on a fishing trip in Idaho, but what's he looking at? (Check out the reflection in his sunglasses). [Thanks Fish]

The new Dramatic Chipmunk?

I came across this photo today in work whilst looking for some images for a website I'm developing (it's a regular business site honest!). It was taken in a car park in California and after a quick search it appears that the owner of the car does happen to have the unfortunate name of Lolita Hunter (aka Lolita Monroe-Hunter).

"[These images] were taken during the battle for the Liberian capital, Monrovia, where local custom dictates that the use of a weapons sights is strictly prohibited. Also prohibited are aiming, assuming a supported firing position - in fact anything that might resemble anything that might constitute marksmanship. Hip hop / rappa / gangsta poses are mandatory."
I know it's childish but I could help but laugh.
