I've developed a new mobile website that we will be launching towards the end of the month and need people to test it out. It's a mobile recruitment site that will allow people to search and apply for jobs on their mobile phone. It has been designed for an accountancy recruitment company in Cardiff but this test version has been stripped of their branding.
It's been tested on a variety of newer Nokia phones and some emulators but in order to ensure that it works we need to test it on as many devices as possible. If you could test the site on your phone it would be a great help to us. If you are able to test the site could you provide us with the make and model of phone.
Also, let us know what you think of the site. Is it easy/difficult to use? Is anything confusing? Is it missing something?
Bear in mind that mobile sites are more restrictive than regular websites so there are certain things can't be included such as complex designs.
Finally, there are a few things on the site that will change such as the application form which will have less fields to fill in and the
tags in the job description which will be removed.
The site can be viewed at the following URL - http://m.a76.co.uk

Ive just tried again with my nokia n73 i got on the site and it looked pretty good and it was easier to use than say the E.A. site which always takes ages to load anyway. another really good thing was the loading times as they were almost instentanious this maybee because theres no pics on it but i think thats a good thing on a moblie.

I'm glad that you tried the site again and it worked? Did you do anything different the second time?
We wanted the site to load quickly which was why we made sure that images were kept to a minimum and were compressed as much as possible. I'm not sure of the exact figures but each page is probably only a couple of KB in size.

I gave it a quick test with my Motorola Q. Works great, easy to use. Some of the content contained visible HTML tags, but it's just test data.
Nice use of off shore resources for testing.
