Blogstorm has started charting the top 100 UK blogs. There is already a top 300 UK blogs list over at Technoranki but this one differs.
Blogstorm calculates its ratings based on Technorati and Alexa data whereas Technoranki uses a variety of ways to measure popularity but one major factor is a blog dropping some Javascript code onto it's pages to count the number of impressions. Also, the system is closed to public membership so results in fairly biased results.
Blogstorm appears to be more accurate and picks up a lot of very popular blogs (e.g. Mashable) that Technoranki misses. One thing I do like about Technoranki is that it places me at number 3 whereas I'm at number 30 on Blogstorm.
Awesome news! Thanks for the post and informing us of the Top 100 UK blogs.
