CNN has an interview with Shigeo Tokunda, a 73-year-old 'porn star' from Japan. Since retiring as a 9 to 5 travel agent, Tokunda (his porn star name) has starred in over 200 adult videos.
Surprisingly his videos are selling well, even to the surprise of the company producing the videos:-
"To be honest, I don't understand why people are buying these videos," he says. "I think our older customers must feel a sense of security by watching videos with an actor who is in the same generation."
This is not what you want to see your mother doing.
George Chandler says he didn't know a 2-and-a-half-inch nail was driven into his skull until his work colleague spotted it stuck through his cap. He felt a little sting but that was about it.
Upon discovering the nail in his noggin, George called for medical assistance. A doctor tried to remove the nail using pliers but was unsuccessful so borrowed a claw hammer from a worker! It worked.
"He got a screwdriver at the same time, and he took the screwdriver and pried the nail up a little bit and got the claw hammer," Chandler said.

This is the picture that solved the mystery of a drunken student's lost door key.
Chris Foster had no memory of swallowing the two-inch Yale key at a party to stop his friends taking him home when they decided he had had enough to drink.
The 18-year-old computer design student spent the night on a convenient sofa and did not believe his friends when they told him why he couldn't find his key the next day.
When he started feeling unwell, however, he began to suspect they might be telling the truth and went to hospital for an X-ray which revealed the key nestling in his stomach.
Doctors sent him home, telling him to let nature take its course, and the key emerged 31 hours later.
After a thorough rinse it was back on Chris's fob - saving him the £20 his landlord would have charged for a replacement. Link

"Prince Randian was an armless and legless sideshow performer known alternately as “The Living Torso,” “The Snake Man,” “The Human Worm,” “The Human Cigarette Factory,” and “The Amazing Caterpillar Man.” Randian spoke Hindi, German, English, and French, and was able to write, paint, shave, and roll a cigarette using only his mouth. He makes a brief appearance in the 1932 film “Freaks,” lighting a cigarette and uttering only one virtually inscrutable line of dialogue: “Can you do anything with your eyebrows?” He died of a heart attack in 1934 at the age of 63."

An Indonesian fisherman who grew tree-like growths after a teenage accident has been offered a cure by an American doctor.
Dede, now 35, baffled medical experts when warty "roots" began growing out of his arms and feet after he cut his knee in a teenage accident.
The welts spread across his body unchecked and soon he was left unable to carry out everyday household tasks.
To make ends meet he joined a local "freak show", parading in front of a paying audience alongside victims of other peculiar diseases.
But now an American dermatology expert who flew out to Dede's home village south of the capital Jakarta claims to have identified his condition, and proposed a treatment that could transform his life.
After testing samples of the lesions and Dede's blood, Dr Anthony Gaspari of the University of Maryland concluded that his affliction is caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), a fairly common infection that usually causes small warts to develop on sufferers.
Dr Gaspari, who became involved in the case through a Discovery Channel documentary, believes that Dede's condition can be largely cleared up by a daily doses of a synthetic form of Vitamin A, which has been shown to arrest the growth of warts in severe cases of HPV.

A news story about a German brother and sister who have had four children together.
